Mrs. Scheele currently serves as the Assistant to the Executive Director: Public Relations and Development. This is her 4th year on staff previously serving as Crusader Care coordinator. Her favorite part about Valley is the students and families. "I love to serve others, find a need and fill it and shine God's light wherever I am."

Mrs. Scheele and her husband, Sean (who pastors Pilgrim Lutheran Church in Waterloo) have six children: Taylor, currently a sophomore in college; Kaitlyn, a sophomore at Valley, Luke in 2nd grade, Lydia in Kindergarten, Karis in preschool, and Matthew who is 2 years old.

When asked what the best part of following Jesus is, Mrs. Scheele states, "Following Jesus means freedom. Not freedom to do whatever I want, rather, freedom from my sins, freedom from the idea that my faith is based off what I do (or don't do!). Jesus died for me (and you!) and because of that, I have been set free from the weight to "get it all right" and earn my way to Heaven. As a baptized child of God, I have the promise of Heaven and that has given me the desire to go and share the good news!"
