Mrs. Hassman is originally from the Canary Islands, Spain. She studied Psychology in Madrid, Spain and has a masters degree in Christian Counseling from Liberty University, VA. She also has her play therapy (UNI), theology (Rhema Bible Training College, Brocken Arrow, OK) and teaching (UNI) certifications.

Mrs. Hassman and her husband, Jeff, have four children and they attend Prairie Lakes Church in Cedar Falls. She enjoys reading, watching movies, and playing board games with her children.

Mrs. Hassman says that the "best part of following Jesus is being secured in His love, knowing that I am a daughter of the King of Kings and Lord of Lords!"
